IMPACT STORIES
Behind every statistic we share is a child with dreams, struggles, and incredible strength. At Paulinah Foundation, we believe that real change happens one life at a time — and every life touched by kindness creates a ripple that extends far beyond what we can see.
Manatsa's Second Chance at Childhood
Born from a teen pregnancy and left in the care of aging grandparents, Manatsa was years behind in his schooling. When we found him, he had nearly given up. We enrolled him in school, provided him with essentials, and today — despite the lost time — Manatsa is catching up fast, proving that it’s never too late for a second chance.
Tinotenda's Journey: Choosing Dignity Over Despair
When Tinotenda’s mother refused to become a second wife, she was abandoned and left to raise her children alone in poverty. Tinotenda’s future seemed destined for hardship — but today, through the Foundation’s support, she is back in school, proud, determined, and dreaming of becoming a teacher herself. Her story is a powerful reminder that dignity and education walk hand in hand.
Lorraine's New Beginning
Left to fend for herself in a child-headed household, Lorraine’s early years were filled with survival, not study. When her aunt found her and reached out to us, we stepped in with school fees, mentorship, and emotional support. Lorraine is now proudly in Grade 5, her laughter and love for learning restored.
Lovemore's Silent Tears, Now Turned Into Hope
Raised by a frail grandmother after his mother’s marriage collapsed, Lovemore faced rejection and the constant fear of being turned away from school because of unpaid fees. With our intervention, Lovemore now attends school confidently, knowing he has a team standing behind him, believing in his future.
